Auto Refresh Page offers a variety of features, one of which is the random intervals. Unlike standard refresh options, this advanced feature allows the page to refresh at arbitrary intervals, creating a more dynamic browsing experience. Each time the page is refreshed, the interval will change, making it ideal for scenarios where you want refreshes at unpredictable times.
How It Works:
- Open the Advanced Options panel.
- Check the box next to Random Interval to enable this feature.
- Set the maximum refresh interval by entering a value.
The minimum interval is always 1 second. The maximum interval can be customized according to your preferences. After setting the maximum, the placeholder in the time entry field will read: “from 1 to …”.
Examples:
- From 1 to 20: Random interval between 1 and 20 seconds.
- From 2 to 60: Random interval between 2 and 60 seconds.
- From 5 to 100: Random interval between 5 and 100 seconds.
- From 5 to 1800: Random interval between 5 seconds and 30 minutes (1800 seconds).
Each time the page refreshes, a new interval will be selected randomly within the range you specified. You’ll notice the interval value change in the textbox after each refresh, indicating the current refresh time.
To modify the maximum random interval, simply adjust the number in the text box and click Start.
With Auto Refresh Page, you can easily control how frequently the page refreshes, while the random interval feature gives you an added layer of unpredictability for your refreshing needs.
